    New Royal Adelaide Hospital

    The new RAH will harness the latest in architectural design to create a healing environment for patients and a positive working environment for staff, while minimising the buildings environmental footprint, supporting the hospital’s environmental sustainable development guidelines. In Sep 2014, Nilsen Networks received a purchase order for the Design, Engineering, Commissioning and Supply of materials for a Philips Dynalite Lighting Control System. A largest social infrastructure building project since the construction of Parliament House in Canberra in 1988 is due for completion by Jun 2016.

    This large-scale project lies beneath Australia’s largest city and helps to power and protect a number of iconic buildings. It required a huge commitment and state-of-the-art lighting solutions using Philips Dynalite  technology, including Envision Manager software, with integration into an OBSI system.

    Bravo Office Building, Perth Airport comprises of five levels; with office accommodation over four levels, a gymnasium over two levels and a food and beverage outlet on the ground level aiming environmental performance of 4 Star Green Star Rating and a NABER’s rating of 4.5. The Philips Lighting Control System is a state of the art Ecolinx-Type solution, where the lighting controllers are located above the ceiling void. The lights are controlled by a combination of PIR sensors, Switch panels and BMS control.

    A state of the art teaching facility including a Super Lab, the first of its kind in Australia. The interior makes extensive use of skylights to maximise the natural light in the building and the unique facade creates a strong aesthetic connection with the Alumni Green space meant for special events and to encourage students and staff to study outdoors (supported with WI-FI, 240v power and intelligent lighting). In May 2013, Nilsen was awarded the Lighting Control Package for the UTS which was successfully completed in Oct 2014.
