In this seminar Oliver will explain why this evolutionary design ethos has such universal appeal and the many benefits it can bring. He will clarify the core concepts and patterns behind Biophilic design and how they can be applied to the built environment - demonstrating the range of financial approaches to implementation. He then develops the business case explaining how an enhanced connection to nature creates more desirable spaces to live and work, so by helping to reduce costs - such as absenteeism and staff turnover, whilst improving building outcomes – such as productivity and creativity.
Along the way there are case studies and examples of how Biophilic design is put into practice.
