To determine a replacement driver, you will need to gather the information below on the existing driver. Much of this information can be found on the label of the driver to be replaced. Here is the information you will need:

1. The luminaire type (indoor, outdoor, industrial (high bay) or downlight)
2. The mains power (should be on the driver label)
3. The dimming interface
4. Output current (check label)
5. Output voltage of the driver (take highest number)
6. If the existing driver is a class 2 driver or not
7. Constant current or constant voltage
8. Physical size of the driver that is being replaced
9. If it is a downlight, is it a bottom entry or side entry connection?
