Cooper Lighting Solutions brings a strong lighting and connectivity portfolio in many verticals, such as residential, commercial, industrial, sports, and healthcare. Signify brings an extensive IoT offering for in- and outdoor lighting and has world leading technologies in architectural façade lighting, horticulture and animal lighting as well as in emerging areas such as LiFi and 3D printing.
    Will Cooper’s customer approach change to align with Signify’s?
    A:  The customer approach will remain unchanged as both companies will continue to sell their products under their own brand names using their respective agency sales representative networks. This will preserve the strategy and principles behind the commercial success of both companies.
    Will customers notice a change in service as a result of this acquisition?
    A: Until the transaction closes it’s business as usual for both companies which means that both companies continue their ordinary course of business independently from each other. Both companies aim to exceed customer expectations with regard to service reliability. At Signify we have improved our service levels considerably in the US and reached a level for our professional luminaires business that’s above industry standard while we continue to raise the bar to provide our customers with the highest level of service across our portfolio.
    Will Cooper Lighting Solutions keep its brands?
    A: Yes, Cooper Lighting Solutions will continue to sell its products under its own brand names, including Corelite, Halo, Lumark, McGraw-Edison, Metalux, and many more, using its existing agency network.
