Philips Hue Sync TV App Now Available on LG TVs

    • Seamless integration allows users to sync their Philips Hue lights with any on-screen content

Eindhoven, the Netherlands – Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the global leader in lighting, today launches the Philips Hue Sync TV app for LG TVs. Available worldwide for all compatible LG TVs, the app enables users to synchronize their Philips Hue smart lights with their television screens for an immersive viewing experience.

    The ultimate surround lighting experience

Designed as a native smart TV app, the Philips Hue Sync TV app creates a surround lighting experience by dynamically adjusting the brightness and color of Philips Hue lights to match on-screen action. This collaboration brings the Sync TV app to LG TVs, allowing users to sync their lights to anything they watch, including content from set-top boxes, streaming sticks, native TV apps such as Netflix and Disney+, and gaming consoles.

The Philips Hue Sync TV app supports multiple image formats, such as 8K, 4K, HDR 10, and Dolby Vision, ensuring a high-quality visual experience. Leveraging a proprietary syncing algorithm and the renowned responsiveness of the Philips Hue lighting system, the app delivers smooth and engaging lighting effects.

We are excited to bring the Philips Hue Sync TV app to LG TVs, making it even easier for users to elevate their home entertainment experience. This partnership strengthens our commitment to integrating Philips Hue into the broader smart home ecosystem.”
