Signify was formerly Philips Lighting, which became a standalone company after its spin-off from Royal Philips in May 2016.

Signify is the global leader in lighting. We are twice the size of our nearest competitor. We combine LED electronics, lamps and luminaires, systems and services.

Signify employs 32,000 people in 70 countries and has manufacturing plants in all major regions of the world. Our products, systems and services are sold in 180 countries.

Our business is divided into four business groups: LED, Lamps, Professional and Home. By leveraging the Internet of Things, we are helping to make buildings, cities and homes smarter.

Brighter lives, better world

Sustainability lies at the heart of our business. Through our Brighter Lives Better World program, we set ambitious targets for sustainable revenues and operations.

By 2020, we will be carbon neutral and 80% of our revenues will come from sustainable products, systems and services. By the same year, we aim to eliminate waste going to landfill sites, have a zero-injury workplace as well as an audited and trained green supply chain.
