We require our suppliers to comply with the Regulated Substance List. This listing of chemical substances brings together all the legal, industry and voluntary requirements to which Signify is committed with regard to the chemical substances contained in our products. Compliance with the RSL is an integral part of any commercial agreement between Signify and our suppliers.

BOMcheck

Suppliers can demonstrate their compliance with the RSL by uploading their Regulatory Compliance Declaration or Full Material Declaration into BOMcheck, an online cross-industry platform. We operate a Signify BOMcheck Support Center to help our suppliers with all steps of the declaration process in BOMcheck. Declarations made by our suppliers are systematically validated.

We measure performance of our program vs annual target of 90% on time suppliers, meaning suppliers that provide declaration without any missing information within 1 month’ lead time.
