    Detailed information about our rooms

    10m semi-anechoic room

The SAR-10 is a semi-anechoic room intended for performing radiated emissions to physically large equipment using a 10m test distance. It is equipped with a 4m diameter turntable capable to carry 4000kg load. In addition to the radiated emission measurements, radiated immunity measurements can be performed in this room.

The SAR-10 complies with the requirements of CISPR 16-1-4 and ANSI C63.4 (30MHz – 1GHz).

    3m semi-anechoic room

    Newly refurbished in 2019

The SAR-3 is a semi-anechoic room intended for performing radiated emission measurements to physically small equipment. It is equipped with a 2m diameter turntable capable to carry 1000kg load and we can measure your product at 3m distance. This room can be equipped with additional floor absorbers to enable measurements above 1GHz. The SAR-3 complies with the requirements of CISPR 16-1-4 and ANSI C63.4 (30MHz – 18GHz).

    Fully-anechoic room

Newly refurbished in 2019 and made suitable for antenna testing.

This fully-anechoic room is used for antenna pattern measurements, as well as for Radio Equipment Directive (RED) measurements. It is equipped with a 2m turntable capable to carry 500kg load.

The room can be used in the frequency range up to 40GHz.

The FAR complies with the requirements of CISPR 16-1-4 and ANSI C63.4 (30MHz – 18GHz).

    Reverberation chamber

Our mode-stirred- or reverberation chamber is particularly well suited for RF-immunity testing. High field strengths in excess of 300V/m can easily be generated in this chamber. Testing at high immunity levels is of growing importance, especially in the context of the ever-increasing number of external RF sources and higher sensitivity of modern integrated circuits.

    G-TEM cell

The Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic (GTEM) cell is an electromagnetic compatibility instrument used for measurement of radiated immunity and radiated emissions.

Its unique construction allows to perform immunity tests and measure the emissions at any favorable location without being interfered from the surrounding electromagnetic disturbance environment.

    Compact FAR

The compact FAR is used to perform radiated immunity testing. It is equipped with a 1.5m diameter turntable capable of carrying a 1000kg load.

Test frequencies range from 80MHz to 6GHz with a maximum field strength of 10V/m RMS unmodulated (6V/m RMS in the range 2.7 to 6GHz). Also pulse-modulated fields can be generated according the medical standard IEC60601-1-2.

    Shielded rooms

Twelve General purpose Faraday Cages (GFCs) are available for compliance testing in addition to the semi- and fully-anechoic chambers. These support compliance testing according to a variety of (harmonised) standards, pre-compliance tests and consultancy using workbench methods.

    Rent your own GFC

We have general purpose Faraday Cages for rent.
