Trulifi by Signify is the perfect solution. It’s a range of LiFi systems, providing two-way wireless communication that provides consistent high-speed connectivity, unique physical security and has low latency for real time data streaming.

How LiFi works

Our Trulifi systems modulate light waves to transmit data, mostly using invisible light. A USB access key plugged into a laptop or tablet receives data and sends data back to a transceiver. By leveraging lighting infrastructure, Trulifi customers get the best of both worlds: great quality Philips lighting and consistent, secure and low latency data connectivity.

Trulifi can be retrofitted in existing luminaires or installed as a single system.

Trulifi by Signify, gives you data connectivity through light. It is a two-way wireless connection that provides consistent high-speed, unique physical security and low latency. In addition, the energy efficient LED lights lead to more than 80% of electricity savings compared to conventional lighting.

Consistent high-speed connections

Trulifi is immune to radio signal interference so it’s ideal in places where many networks overlap, think multi-tenant offices, hotels or busy transport hubs. It’s also perfect in where radio communication systems are prohibited or don’t work well, like typical LiFi applications such as government institutions, aircraft or industrial plants. The Trulifi portfolio contains products with net data rates up to 845 Mbps. It acts like a wireless cable with a guaranteed net data rate.

Unique physical security

Trulifi uses AES 128-bit encryption. Information is accessed using a USB access key. An extra layer of security is built-in, as light waves can’t penetrate walls. This all helps to make Trulifi as secure as wired communication. Perfect for applications where security is paramount.

Low latency for real time data streaming

Not only for gaming, but also for industrial LiFi applications VR technologies are widely used. When working wirelessly, most VR applications run on connections with a higher latency than desired, causing cyber sickness. Trulifi provides a consistent high-sped connection and has an ultra-low latency.

Trulifi Solutions

Trulifi 6002

Trulifi 6002 series has a net data rate of 220 Mbps downlink and 160 Mbps uplink. In combination with the unique LiFi-controller, large areas can be covered with seamless LiFi communication. Plug and play USB access keys will give the guests and users a perfect experience. The 128 bits encryption improves the security in applications where needed.

Trulifi 6014

Trulifi 6014 is a fixed point-to-point system. It acts as a wireless cable with a guaranteed net data rate up to 845 Mbps for the downlink and uplink. The product is IP67 rated and designed for various applications within industry 4.0, Transportation, Government and Defense roll outs.
