    Key topics and learnings

Lighting is the core electrical system in almost every space in the built environment. From city streets and public parks, to university lecture halls and hospitals. As lighting designers, our role has always been to integrate the vision of architecture with the medium of light effectively, efficiently and beautifully. We are both form-givers and visual stimulators. As such, it is our responsibility to reach beyond photons and reflective materials to other building systems. In doing so, we enable our industry to evolve, as we become more holistic integrators within the built environment.

This webinar will consider critical integration skills for lighting designers. It will help you to understand and identify the possibilities, realities and challenges of evolving the design and construction team roles when working as part of an integrated project delivery (IPD), or another integrated process team. It will also teach you how to identify which building systems will easily integrate with the building lighting and lighting control systems, and, conversely, which ones won’t.

Watch this webinar to learn about the multiple ways in which lighting experts can impact not just the visual systems in a building, but also many other systems. Building on this, you will discover how leverage this impact into an expanded scope of work. Ultimately, you will take away recommendations as to how you can evolve your role as a thought leader and innovator on current and future projects.
