Bright energy saving villages, Indonesia
A-Access to light for communities in off-grid villages through Kampung Terang Hemat Energi (Bright Energy-Saving Villages) Indonesia. A 2017 – 2018 program where approximately 25 villages in North Sumatra, East Bali, Central Kalimanta, and Maluku will be provided with innovative, solar-based LED lighting technology. The first phase in North Sumatera has been completed with 447 new lighting points for houses, public facilities and village roads, which have brightened the lives of approximately 1,600 people in Deli Serdang and Langkat regencies.
