How did your career evolve in lighting design?
From early days I have been fascinated by lights & the concept of lighting. Especially during festivals, all that glittered was not gold for me; it was glittering twilights that shined bright! After my graduation in Architecture it became clear that my calling was a profession in Architectural Lighting Projects. I met numerous lighting enthusiasts & got further inspired with the application of advanced technology in lighting design.
With more than 100 projects under my wing, I learned the pros and cons of practical application and thoughtful utilization of spaces.
What is your vision of lighting design?
I want to see illuminated buildings all around the city, no matter what projects we own. People should realize that lighting alone cannot do wonders, but when properly set up in architectural design, it could be wonderful. My vision is to be able to contribute a small portion to this larger dream, and make my illuminated projects, recognizable.
