Green wall manufacturer Naava’s headquarters and showroom in the heart of Helsinki is focused on biophilic design and circadian rhythm. Naava wanted to create a space where employees leave the office feeling refreshed and energetic.
The aim was to create an office space with focus on well-being, partly achieving this through the use of human-centric lighting. This was further enhanced by using biophilic design principles, and the NatureConnect panel was set to adapt with circadian rhythm. The lighting is cool white from morning to noon, while in the afternoon and towards evening the light becomes warmer toned and eventually it fades into the night. The space was also equipped with two smart lighting systems: Interact Pro for building managers and Philips Hue for building users. The general lighting was renewed with 3D printed spots and Luminous Textile was designed to one of the cozier coffee/meeting rooms to illustrate dynamic and moving forest trees in the wind.
