These evaluations differ in terms of methodology, coverage, and focus areas. We allocate our efforts to engage with bodies who have robust and transparent methodologies. We have been a member of the DJSI World Index for 7 consecutive years since our IPO, and a member of the DJSI Europe Index 6 times.

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is an international non-profit organization that runs the world’s environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, states, and regions. The annual Climate A List names the world’s leaders in environmental transparency on climate change. Nearly 21,000 organizations around the world disclosed data through CDP in 2023. Signify has been recognized on the A List for several consecutive years for leadership in environmental performance.

The aim of the Golden Peacock Global Award for Sustainability is to stimulate and help organizations to rapidly accelerate the pace of stakeholder-oriented improvement processes. It is a powerful self-assessment process and a way to build an organizations' brand equity on sustainability.

The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy creates an ESG reporting Transparency Benchmark for Dutch companies. Based on the 2021 benchmark, Signify was awarded the Most Innovative report for providing reasonable assurance on all sustainability statements and having an attractive design for a wide range of audiences, including younger generations.

Equileap is a leading provider of insights into gender equality. Annually, Equileap creates a report ranking the Top 100 largest companies listed on the Euronext Amsterdam Stock Exchange. In 2021, Signify was ranked 10th for gender equality in the workplace and 2nd in the supply chain.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) secretariat is the United Nations entity tasked with supporting the global response to the threat of climate change and the parent treaty of the 2015 Paris Agreement. UNCFCCC gave us the UN Global Climate Action Award for our carbon neutral program and achievement in 2020.
