การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศเป็นปัญหาระดับโลก โดยประเทศไทยให้ความสำคัญกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ถือเป็นหนึ่งในความท้าทายที่สำคัญ ซึ่งส่งผลกระทบโดยกว้างต่อการดำรงชีวิตของชุมชน การเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ และความสำเร็จของการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ด้วยมุ่งมั่นเพื่อเป้าหมายความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนในปี พ.ศ.2593 และแนวทางการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (GHG) ในปี พ.ศ.2608 ประเทศไทยได้ยื่นข้อเสนอการมีส่วนร่วมของประเทศในการลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก และการดำเนินงานด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (NDC) เป็น 20-25% เมื่อเทียบกับระดับธุรกิจตามปกติที่คาดการณ์ไว้ในปี พ.ศ.2573

ในฐานะผู้นำระดับโลกด้านระบบและอุปกรณ์ส่องสว่าง ซิกนิฟายมีความมั่นใจการไปสู่เป้าหมายประเทศไทยสีเขียวเพื่อบรรลุความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนภายในปี พ.ศ.2608 และได้ออกแบบโครงการ Green Switch เพื่อมอบโซลูชันแสงสว่างที่มีประสิทธิภาพ และให้ผลสัมฤทธิ์ในระยะเวลาอันสั้น แสงสว่างที่ประหยัดพลังงานจึงมีบทบาทอันทรงพลังในการต่อสู้กับวิกฤตการณ์ทางสภาพอากาศ และการเปลี่ยนมาใช้อุปกรณ์ส่องสว่าง LED ก็ถือเป็นเรื่องง่าย เป็นวิธีแก้ปัญหาการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ นอกจากนี้ ด้วยความสามารถของ IoT ที่ได้ถูกผนวกรวมไว้ในโครงข่ายระบบอุปกรณ์ส่องสว่างกำลังพาเราไปสู่อนาคตอัจฉริยะที่แท้จริงอันใกล้
